How to qualify to rentAll completed applications received are processed on a first come first serve basis. It is illegal for REMS INC. to discriminate in any way regarding potential tenants. Management will observe strict confidentiality regarding all personal and financial information received.

1. An application for each adult (18 years or older) who will be residing in the unit. There is no exception!

2. Each Application must contain copies of the following documents:

  1. Driver's license, DMV I.D., or passport.
  2. Social Security Card (S.S. # on paycheck stub is acceptable).
  3. Current paycheck stub(s) with a year to date figure included for the most current month of each employed applicant.
  4. If self-employed, individuals must provide full copies of the last two (2) years of tax returns.
  5. School report cards for children 6-16 years old.

3. Include a credit check fee (paid by cash or money orders only. NO PERSONAL CHECKS). Make payable to R.E.M.S. This fee is refundable if not used.

  1. $30.00 per each single adult 18 years or older.
  2. $30.00 per married couple (with the same last names) or 1 year or more.

4. Applicants must have a clean history. No bankruptcies, evictions, collections, judgments, delinquencies, or charge offs.

5. Must be employed for at least 1 year.

6. A guideline is to earn 3 times your rent, e.g., a $1000 rent means you should earn $3000 per month.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE SEPARATED OR IN THE PROCESS OF A DIVORCE WE MUST REQUIRE YOUR SPOUSE’S INFORMATION AND SIGNATURE. UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED YOUR DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS, YOU ARE CONSIDERED LEGALLY ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR SPOUSE.

IF APPROVED, the First month’s rent and security deposit is payable by separate money order or cashiers check only. We do not accept cash or personal checks on new move-ins.
